Bio/Contact

I took the scenic route to get here. I grew up in Texas and made lots of exciting, and sometimes dangerous detours to get here.

I've lived most of my adult life abroad, satiating my hunger for all things foreign to my TX upbringing. I went on hiatus, carrying everything I owned on my back. My goal was to put myself in uncomfortable situations, change my perspective and challenge everything I knew. I ran a bar in Thailand, traveled North America taking photos from a door-less helicopter (think human drone), taught English to school children and teachers in South Korea. I was a ceramist; making teeth (human-centered design in action) and I taught art to a rowdy crew of high school students in a football-loving Texas town. These diverse experiences naturally led me to become a curious, open-minded, outside-of-the-box thinking, designer.

In my playtime, I'm a highly competitive volleyball player, a cyclist, a runner, a consumer of tech and design conferences/meetups, a creator of visual design and a dabbling writer.

I live for the rush of a good challenge; I'm a goal-setter, a risk-taker, an explorer and I'm driven. If a door is open, I'm walking through it.

Brewing up great ideas that motivate people to engage and take action are my fire. Collaborating with an awesome team is a necessity. Seeing ideas become great solutions and products is the payoff. I shoot for impact.
